Great Experience and Value for Money
I and my group of 4 travelled to the Southern part of Uganda. We used Ape Treks and they truly knew what we wanted right from the start. We had an awesome time while in Uganda and we got to see the Gorillas as we had expected.It was a great experience, we had true value for money as our Guide Benedict was very knowledgeable. Day Trip Kampala to Jinja
I had the best experience organizing my day trip to Jinja from Kampala. The owner was very responsive by email in organizing my trip in the days before my arrival. He answered all of my questions and was very flexible with arrangements.My guide for the day, Hassan, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The Best Trip You’ll Ever Have
If you want to see East Africa, hire Ape Treks. Their prices are fair, their staff are friendly, and they have a ton of love and respect for the places and animals they showcase. Ape Treks took my friends and I literally all the way across Uganda. We had a blast, we felt safe, and we got to see so many amazing animals. Wonderful traveling experience with the guidance of Ape Treks!
I spent three weeks in Uganda with a group of 12 people. Having Ape Treks as our means of transportation to and from the various sites we stayed made our trip the great experience it was! Faizo was a great driver and brought us safely from Entebbe all the way to Kalongo. Ben was an amazing tour guide for our weekend safari trip to Kidepo and our safari trip to Murchison Falls. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about everything you should know about Uganda and on top of his great tour guide skills he recommended various restaurants, shopping areas, and other activities that he knew our specific group would enjoy. Ben spoke English very well, which was super helpful in communicating and making plans. Ben and Faizo were so genuine, fun to be around, and definitely took care of our group. They made sure we had the best time possible and it would not have been the same amazing experience without them! Trust Ape Treks with my life!!
Our group used Ape Treks for our in-country transportation and safaris during our recent visit to Uganda. We couldn't have been happier!! Most of us were traveling to Africa/Uganda for the first time and our driver, Faizo, and guide/owner, Ben, made the experience superb!! They drove us up-country and back, through 2 safaris and Kidepo and Murchison Falls and treated us with the utmost care. We enjoyed learning about the local wildlife and birds from Ben, who was a fountain of knowledge, and we were amazed by Faizo's adept driving skills in getting us through heavy traffic in the city.They assisted us with navigating some of the issues we encountered during our visit, including ensuring we had appropriate meals at a remote location (Kidepo). All the arrangements were flawless (on-time pick ups, requests for water supplies fulfilled, etc.) and they even accommodated our last-minute request for an extra day of transportation services with a smile. On our last day in Kampala, Ben made sure to help us get in some final cultural exposure at Mengo Palace, took us to the best restaurant of our whole trip (Cafe Javas, Oasis location), great shopping at the national theater, and helped us unwind before our long flight home at another Cafe Javas coffee shop at the Victoria Mall. His ability to come up with a great plan on the fly that worked for us was beyond impressive. The professionalism of Ben and his team rivals other tour companies I've encountered and outshines all the US-based tourism experiences that I have had.I HIGHLY recommend Ape Treks to anyone traveling to Uganda/East Africa!!! Wonderful experience traveling Uganda with Ape Treks!!!
I’m a faculty member at a university and we take nursing students to Uganda every year for their population health clinical rotation. I have had the privilege of working with Ape Treks two years in a row. We hire Ape Treks for all our travels around the country. Last year we had Alex and Hassan as our guides, and they were fabulous. I even received a phone call from Hassan while I was back in Uganda this year. This January we had the pleasure of working with Ben and Faizo. They took us on two safaris to Kidepo Valley National Park and Murchison Falls National Park. Ben is very knowledgeable about several animals that you will see in the parks, but he is also an avid bird watcher. He can tell you about any bird that is found in East Africa. If bird watching is your thing, Ben is your man. Words cannot describe how wonderful the employees of Ape Treks are. They treated my group of twelve like family and met all our needs. Murchison Falls Safari
Had an excellent 3 day Murchison Falls safari trip. It included a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, an evening and early morning safari drive, a Nile river cruise and walk to the top of the falls. On the return journey I did chimp trekking and saw up to 20 chimps in their natural environment. It was my first safari, on the early morning safari tour we were accompanied by a local guide and saw a lion, two leopards, hyenas as well as elephants, giraffes, buffalo and antelope. It was a great adventure and well organised. My tour guide Vincent was great company and a safe driver. Ape Treks have lots of different options and I will be back to try a longer trip.

Exceptional experience with the wonderful Ape Treks!!
Our group just spent three days with Ape Treks in Murchison Falls National Park. The driver, Alex, and the guide, Hassan, went above and beyond expectations to ensure that we had a wonderful, safe and fun experience. We plan to use Ape Treks for more of our trip next year. I highly recommend that you try them. The price was reasonable, the bus was very comfortable (and air conditioned). A wonderful organization.
